Carlisle's great for Shopping & Eating out
We are situated in the Historic Quarter of the City of Carlisle and boy has Carlisle got some history ! We are a stones throw away from the Cathedral and the Castle and set right in the heart of the city centre itself.
If you are passing through on the way to or from Scotland or heading to The world famous Lake District be sure to check out the historic side of Carlisle, with Tullie House museum a good place to start.
We are right next door to the Quarter Lounge burger bar, opposite I Love Cafe with several other great places to grab a coffee or a spot of lunch including Foxes, The Shabby Scholar and the Cake & Ale cafe.
The historic Carlisle Castle is just a few minutes walk away. As an Australian friend said "It's a proper castle, mate"
Just a 100 meters or so from the shop, do go and see the Cathedral and its surrounding area, it's lovely and right in the city. Walk in the grounds on a sunny day, it will do you good,
Cumbria is simply the most beautiful part of England, we are very lucky to live here.
Many visitors from all over the world come to see the world heritage site that extends from coast to coast. Visit one of the many Roman forts along the wall or pop in to Tullie House museum just around the corner from our shop to check out "What the Romans did for us"
With everything you would expect in a small city like Carlisle right on our doorstep, park up in the Lanes shopping centre car park or one of the many others in and around the city centre and enjoy the the day.
